No Show/Late Cancellations (please don’t stand me up):

Jenny uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise, IMS, therapeutic cupping as well as good old-fashioned motivation to set her clients on the right path to achieve their goals. Jenny enjoys treating all orthopaedic conditions from acute sports injuries to the “I don’t know why, it just started hurting!” conditions. She has vast experience with post-op protocols: ACL reconstruction, shoulder stabilization, rotator cuff repair, total hip/knee replacements, to name a few.

Jenny enjoys splitting her time between the clinic and the sporting arena for on-field management. She currently is one of the team physiotherapists with the Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team, and has provided physiotherapy support for Hockey Nova Scotia and Rugby Canada. She has travelled and worked at the Ontario ParaSport Games, Commonwealth Youth Games, Commonwealth Games, and the Pan-Am Games.

Jenny has a strong interest in evidence-based concussion management and rehabilitation. She sits on the Sport Physiotherapy Canada Concussion Committee. She has collaborated with and has been mentored by some of the fields leading neuro-optometrists, neuro-psychiatrists, physiotherapists and sport medicine physicians. This range of experience has allowed her to develop a unique skill-set when treating both acute concussions and post-concussion syndrome.

Jenny graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Kinesiology, and from Queen’s University with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. She is a level 3 manual therapist and holds her Diploma from Sport Physiotherapy Canada.

Once a competitive rower and ski racer, Jenny dabbled in competitive ultimate frisbee before settling on her current sports (Ironman, trail running, hiking, pilates and yoga).
